German President Kohler at Yad Vashem Tomorrow

President Katzav to Accompany Visit

German President Horst Kohler, accompanied by President Moshe Katzav, will visit Yad Vashem tomorrow, Tuesday, February 1, 2005, from 15:15 - 17:15. During the course of his visit, President Kohler will visit the Valley of the Communities, the Historical Museum, the Hall of Remembrance, the Children’s Memorial and the International School for Holocaust Studies.

Following are press arrangements for his visit:

15:15: Valley of the Communities -- POOL

15:45: Historical Museum - POOL (2 photo-op points)

16:25: Wreath-laying ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance -- OPEN

16:40: Signing of the Guest Book, exit to the Children’s Memorial -- OPEN

16:45: International School for Holocaust Studies; presentation of joint projects by Yad Vashem Chairman Avner Shalev -- POOL

The President will not take questions during his visit to Yad Vashem.
