YARMOLINTSY AREA 1. The week after the liquidation of the Grodek Jagiellonski ghetto, Germans returned to the town looking for survivors of the murder operation. On February 3, 1943 about 800 Jews were found, taken to the area of Yarmolintsy and shot to death by members of the Gestapo.
2. On January 27, 1943 the Germans began to liquidate the Grodek Jagiellonski ghetto, which had been existed for 2 months. About 1,300 Jews were taken to Yarmolintsy village, where they were shot to death and buried by Gestapo-men. About 800 Jews who succeeded in hiding in the ghetto were also shot to death at the same murder site few days later.
