Distinctive Jewish badge (yellow star) that the Jews of Austria were forced to wear on their clothing in accordance with the directives of the German occupation.

Eidinger and her husband were deported to Terezin and from there to Auschwitz, where they were murdered. The star was preserved by an Austrian friend.
