The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising broke out on April 19th 1943, the eve of Passover. It was the first large-scale urban uprising against the Nazis and, due to its scope, has become a symbol of heroism and resistance. This learning environment contains teaching materials and technological teaching aids on the topic of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The interactive map includes discussion questions based on archival footage and fighter testimony.
