Welcome to International School for Holocaust Studies newest project!
A Digital Educational Resource Site for Educators in the Jewish World!
This constantly expanding site will be a resource for teachers who teach Shoah in Jewish Schools. There will be materials for Day School teachers, for teachers in Synagogue afternoon schools, and even for teachers in informal educational settings. It is our hope that this will become the “go to” for Shoah education in the Jewish world. We are just beginning and we welcome your comments, criticisms, and suggestions.
All the classes and programs on this site will be divided into material for elementary schools, middle schools and high schools. These divisions represent the audience we feel is most appropriate for the material presented. You have to experiment to see what is appropriate for your students.
As well, as age appropriate classes, we have included a link for teachers to the Yad Vashem Video Toolbox, which is an important resource for additional Shoah materials, and we have included materials that can be used by schools for Yom HaShoah Ceremonies.
Thank you for registering to receive information from Yad Vashem.
You will receive periodic updates regarding recent events, publications and new initiatives.
"The work of Yad Vashem is critical and necessary to remind the world of the consequences of hate"
