In my project, I've chosen old German posters from the period of World War II, and gave them new meaning in the shape of 5 postcards. The posters looks like "Wanted" ads for all kind of professions of enlightened and intelligent people, such as doctor, architect, and economist, but after a second look, the real meaning of the postcards is revealed. The allegedly innocent job offers reflect 5 Nazi criminals from World War II who worked in those professions. They were responsible for the slavery, abuse, and murder of millions of Jews during the Holocaust. Even though their crimes were so horrific, those criminals were intelligent and enlightened people: a fact that makes their crimes even more horrifying.
