Yad Vashem welcomes Marcelo Goldin as the new Director of the Latin America, Spain, Portugal and Miami Spanish-Speaking Desk.

Marcelo made Aliyah from Argentina 36 years ago and performed his military service in the BCN Unit of the IDF’s Engineering Corps. He studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, earning a BA degree in Political Science and International Relations and an MA degree, cum laude, in Political Communication and Public Administration.
He is married to Eti and has 3 children.
He worked at Keren Hayesod for 25 years, starting as the Coordinator for Latin America in the Communications and Marketing Division. He was also Keren Hayesod's representative to Spain and Portugal, Director of the Friends of Israel Division, Representative in Central America and Chile. From 2014 - 2022, he was Director of the International Women's Division.
Before joining Keren Hayesod, Marcelo was the editor of the weekly magazine Aurora for four years, and worked on a freelance basis for various Latin American media.
