Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.
Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

The Governor of New York Andrew M. Cuomo visited Yad Vashem on 5 March. The Governor toured the Holocaust History Museum, participated in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance in the presence of Israel's President H.E. Mr. Reuven Rivlin and visited the Children’s Memorial.
During a short joint statement, Governor Cuomo remarked: "Yad Vashem... is a living lesson of what the Jewish people went through and what this world allowed them to go through."
