The Swedish Foreign Minister paused for reflection in the Hall of Names

Swedish Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E. Ms. Ann Linde visited Yad Vashem on 18 October 2021. She toured the Holocaust History Museum, participated in a memorial ceremony at the Hall of Remembrance, visited the Children's Memorial and signed the Yad Vashem Guestbook. She wrote:
"This is a very painful, but crucial visit. On behalf of Sweden, I promise that we say "Never Again" and mean it. We will continue to take action to combat antisemitism in all its forms to make sure that we never forget."
Later that morning, the Minister of External Affairs of India Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar arrived at Yad Vashem. The Minister toured "Flashes of Memory – Photography during the Holocaust" exhibition, participated in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance and signed the Yad Vashem Guestbook, where he wrote:
"This memorial is both a testimony to the evil that man is capable of, as well as the resilience and fortitude of the human spirit. For those who came after, it will remain an inspiration of courage and righteousness."
