The Kenyan President laid a wreath on behalf of his country in Yad Vashem's Hall of Remembrance

The President of the Republic of Kenya H.E. Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta visited Yad Vashem today. President Kenyatta toured the Hall of Names and Children's Memorial, and took part in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance. The President was visibly moved by his visit, and expressed his wish to return in the future.
"May God give eternal rest to all these souls," said the President at the conclusion of his visit. "May we learn from this experience the cost of lack of tolerance amongst people and nations: We are, after all, children of one God."
