Portuguese Foreign Minister at Yad Vashem

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal H.E. Prof. Augusto Santos Silva visited Yad Vashem on 24 November. The Foreign Minister toured the Holocaust History Museum and Children’s Memorial, and participated in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance.

In the Yad Vashem Guest Book, Minister Silva wrote: "I pay my deepest respects to all the Jewish men, women and children who were the victims of the Holocaust. Our duty is to work together… to avoid any repetition of this horrific evil."
