The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, H.E. Mr. Rasit Owezgeldiyewic Meredow, visited Yad Vashem on 30 May. The Minister toured the Holocaust History Museum, participated in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, visited the Children's Memorial and signed the Yad Vashem Guest Book.
"I share in the grief and sorrow and express a deep sense of empathy," wrote the Minister. "Yad Vashem... plays a noble role in efforts to commemorate the victims, as well as educating the current generation and generations to come."
