Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.
Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.
In total, about 100,000 Slovak Jews (including those who fled before the war) were murdered in the Holocaust. Approximately 25-35,000 survived, including 4,000-5,000 who hid with the partisans or in cities and towns. After the war, most Slovak Jews immigrated to Israel.
