Refugees from Sudan who arrived in Israel due to the Darfur crisis to visit Yad Vashem Monday

On Monday, March 12, 2007, some 10 Sudanese refugees who arrived in Israel due to the crisis in Darfur, will visit Yad Vashem at 10:15. The visit was initiated by the Committee for the Advancement of Refugees from Darfur, which works to assist the Sudanese refugees who have arrived in Israel.

Their visit to Yad Vashem, will include a tour of the Holocaust History Museum, guided by Dr. Robert Rozett, Director of the Yad Vashem Libraries, as well as a visit to the Children’s Memorial.

10:15: Arrival

10:35: Entry into the Holocaust History Museum - OPEN

10:35 - 12:10: Tour of the Holocaust History Museum - three PHOTO-OPs -OPEN

12:15: Children’s Memorial - CLOSED
