Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Russian Prime Minister to Visit Yad Vashem Tomorrow

Due to the Prime Minister's Visit, Yad Vashem will be closed to the Public Tomorrow (Friday)

The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, H.E. Dr. Dmitry Medvedev, will visit Yad Vashem on Friday. The Prime Minister will tour the Holocaust History Museum, participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, visit the Children’s Memorial and sign the Yad Vashem Guest Book.

Yad Vashem Chairman Avner Shalev and Minister of Environmental Protection and Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage Zeev Elkin MK will greet Prime Minister Medvedev at Yad Vashem.

Photo ops will be open to pool photographers only. Print journalists and Radio broadcasters interested in covering the visit must register in advance with the Communications Division, bring proper ID including valid GPO card and arrive at Yad Vashem no later than 09:15 for security checks. Please arrive on time.

The Prime Minister will not take questions at Yad Vashem.
