Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

IDF Chief of Staff Maj. Gen. Moshe Ya’alon will participate in the study day on the topic of “Today’s Antisemitism and Holocaust Remembrance”

On Sunday 18 April, 2004, the eve of Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day, the International School for Holocaust Studies at Yad Vashem will hold a study day for the IDF General Staff Forum with the participation of the Chief of Staff, Maj. Gen. Moshe Ya’alon. The study day will include lectures, discussions and a tour of Yad Vashem, beginning at 07:30, and will be open to the media from 09:15.

In advance of Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day, the IDF has purchased some 700 copies of the book These are Their Last Words - Last Letters from the Holocaust (edited by Professor Zvi Bachrach and published by Yad Vashem) and will distribute them to the senior ranks of the IDF. The book is a collection of letters written by Jews being transported to their deaths, collected from the Yad Vashem archives and other archives, as well as private sources, most of which are published for the first time in the book.
