The President of Hungary, H.E. Mr. Katalin Novák, will visit Yad Vashem tomorrow, Wednesday, 16 November 2022. President Novák will tour the Holocaust History Museum, participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, visit the Children’s Memorial and sign the Yad Vashem Guest Book. Yad Vashem Chairman Dani Dayan will accompany the President during her visit to Yad Vashem.
At the end of her visit, the President of Hungary will meet with a group of Holocaust survivors for a discussion in Yad Vashem's International School for Holocaust Studies.
There will be photo-ops in the Hall of Names and Hall of Remembrance, and at the signing of the Guest Book outside the Children's Memorial. Media interested in covering the visit must RSVP to simmy.allen@yadvashem.org.il, and arrive at the Hall of Names with a valid GPO card, by 15:15.
