The Foreign Minister of Greece, Dimitris P. Droutsas, will visit Yad Vashem tomorrow, October 18, 2010. He will visit the Museum of Holocaust Art and the “Virtues of Memory: Six Decades of Holocaust Survivors’ Creativity” Exhibition, and participate in a Memorial Ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance, followed by a visit to the Children’s Memorial. Mr. Droutsas visited the Holocaust History Museum earlier this year.
The memorial ceremony and the signing of the Guest Book at the conclusion of the visit are open to the press. Media who are interested in covering the visit should arrive in the Hall of Remembrance by 10:15. RSVP recommended: 02 644 3410.
