Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.
Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Yad Vashem condemns author Jose Saramago's statements.
Yad Vashem expresses deep sorrow and concern that an author of such calibre chooses to use the Holocaust in order to strengthen his own claims in a long and complex conflict between two nations. Saramago has completely ignored the historical truth, and undermined those same basic values which he apparently promotes.
