Yad Vashem is closed on Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays.

Entrance to the Holocaust History Museum is not permitted for children under the age of 10. Babies in strollers or carriers will not be permitted to enter.

Visits to Yad Vashem: Tomorrow, Tuesday 28 May 2024

Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Luxembourg, Mr. Xavier Bettel

The Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Luxembourg will visit Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center in Jerusalem, tomorrow, Wednesday, 28 May 2024. Mr. Bettel will tour the Holocaust History Museum, visit the Hall of Names, and participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance. The visit will conclude at the Children's Memorial, where he will sign the Yad Vashem Guestbook.

There will be photo opportunities at the Hall of Names, the Hall of Remembrance and outside of the Children's Memorial.

Journalists and photographers who wish to cover the visit are asked to confirm their arrival beforehand and convene at the Hall of Names by 13:30.

 

European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Mr. Olivér Várhelyi

In addition, the European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Mr. Olivér Várhelyi will also visit Yad Vashem tomorrow.

In the context of his visit, Mr. Olivér Várhelyi and Yad Vashem Chairman Mr. Dani Dayan will sign the official agreement between the European Commission and Yad Vashem supporting the creation of a new immersive audio-visual experience in the Valley of the Communities.

The Commissioner will tour the Valley of the Communities, visit the Hall of Names, and participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance. At the end of his visit, the Commissioner will sign the Yad Vashem Guestbook. Chairman Dayan will accompany the Commissioner throughout the visit. 

There will be photo opportunities in the Valley of the Communities, the Hall of Names and the Hall of Remembrance.
