Tomorrow a delegation of representatives from the US House of Representatives will visit Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center. Headed by Speaker of the House Congressman Kevin McCarthy, the delegation will visit the Book of Names at Yad Vashem, participate in a memorial ceremony in the Hall of Remembrance and sign the Yad Vashem guestbook. Yad Vashem Chairman Dani Dayan and Speaker of the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) Amir Ohana will accompany the visit.
There will be photo-ops in the Book of Names, the Hall of Remembrance, and at the signing of the Guest Book outside the Hall of Remembrance. Media interested in covering the visit must RSVP to simmy.allen@yadvashem.org.il, and arrive at the Hall of Names with a valid GPO card, by 09:30.
