The Moshe Mirilashvili Center for Research on the Holocaust in the Soviet Union at the International Institute for Holocaust Research was established in 2016. Since its inception, the Center's goal has been to facilitate the steady expansion of worldwide scholarly research on the Holocaust and Holocaust-related topics. The Center is active in the planning and implementation of scholarly projects; the organization of workshops and conferences; the fostering of cooperative projects among research institutions, including workshops and scholarships for young scholars; and supporting the publication of documents and monographs on the Holocaust in the USSR.
