Eliyahu Hyman
Eliyahu Hyman was born in 1926 in Breslau, Germany. He was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau on the 19th of April 1943.
In his testimony Hyman recalls the death march that left Auschwitz III – Buna Monowitz. Hyman was part of the death march that is documented in this exhibition. He managed to escape kilometers before the shooting of the inmates and was hidden by a family who were later recognized as Righteous Among the Nations.
