Avraham-Nahum Lapidot (Lapidus) on the Vilnele River in the town of Vileika, eastern Poland (today Belarus), 27 August 1932.
Avraham-Nahum was a carpenter by trade. He was shot to death by the Germans in the summer of 1941, during the first weeks of the German occupation.
In 1999, his sister submitted a Page of Testimony in his memory.

They were murdered during the war. On the right is Chava Dochleuter. On the left is Gezela Band.
Gezela Band was born in Oświęcim, Poland in 1914 to Mendel and Helena. She was a housewife. Prior to WWII she lived in Oświęcim, Poland. During the war she was in Tarnow, Poland. She was murdered in 1944 in Tarnow at the age of 30. This information is based on a Page of Testimony submitted by her cousin.
Chava Dochleuter née Akerman had been a member of WIZO. She was murdered during a deportation.
The photograph was submitted to Yad Vashem by her son.

Shiye Segal using a double-bladed paddle
Shiye Segal using a double-bladed paddle.
Shiye was born in 1909 in Lutomiersk, near Lodz, Poland. Prior to World War II, he lived in Pabjanice, Poland. He was married, and was a weaver by trade. Shiye Segal was murdered in the area of Poznan, Poland in 1942, in the course of forced labor. His nephew, Shmulik Segal, submitted a Page of Testimony in his memory.

An advocate and chemist, Dr. Erno Rado was drafted to the labor battalions in December 1944, and died of starvation in western Hungary in January 1945. In 1993, his cousin submitted a Page of Testimony in his memory.
Kalman Ipoly made a living selling typewriters. He was shot to death in early 1945 after being seized from one of the "safe houses" in Budapest.

Ernst Natan Jacobi rowing on the river in Berlin, prewar. Ernst was born in 1885 in Berlin, and was a banker by profession. He was deported to Auschwitz on Transport 29, which left Berlin on 19 February 1943, and is presumed to have been murdered in the gas chambers. His daughter, Marion Marcus, submitted a Page of Testimony in his memory.
